The 3 mischievous kits were making their way towards stormclan secretly, just getting away from their siblings and parents. The ocelot shot a cold glare towards the one-eyed orange tabby and half-faced silver tabby. "Alright, let's get ready to find this damned Ivorythorn, who's been a thorn in my side." she hissed with a sneer, continuing to lead the kits forward.

Ivorythorn found herself speeding around the outskirts of Nightclan territory, blue-green eyes glinting with determination. Slamming her paw into the ground, she sprung herself into the air and onto a low branch of a tree. Raising her head, she perked her ears, perfectly alert, chest heaving with adrenaline. Climbing higher up on the tree, she breathed in the crisp bareleaf air as if it cleared her head.
Recent events had flown by so fast, she had barely anytime to comprehend any of it. But now, none of it mattered. Everything was back to normal, or at least, as normal as her life could be... Balancing on a narrow branch, her eyes narrowed with focus, intently trained on a nest of eggs teetering precariously on the end of the branch. Smirking, she edged forward until she was standing above it. Great, a snack for myself...
Pawsteps, exactly three sets, crunched the snow underfoot. Ivorythorn crouched down low, staring down at the three she-cats. They smelled of Nightclan, a scent that Ivorythorn had grown to hate. Even if Redear 'forgave' Nightclan, she grew up thinking they were mortal enemies. Snapping back to reality, Ivorythorn scowled at the hoarse voice, "Alright, let's get ready to find this damned Ivorythorn, who's been a thorn in my side." She smirked, eyeing the ocelot.
Reaching a paw forward, she knocked the nest of eggs over. It plummeted to the ground, the yolk of the underdeveloped avians splattering onto the ground. Having created a suitable distraction, Ivorythorn leapt down from the branch she had been perched on. Landing heavily on the silver-tabby's back, she hissed as the pain from the impact jolted up her limbs. The she-cat leaned down, jaws open to clamp around the foe's neck.

Sorry for the very late reply)) Swiveling her head around at the sight of the nest, the ocelot walked towards it slowly and sniffed it, crinkling her nose at the yoke. Sandkit started to follow close behind, but her head soon turned as a flack of silver and white leaped onto her sister. She could only gasp, her tongue was long ripped out as well as Silverkit's but she mouthed her sisters name. "Oh what is it you two morons?!" the spotted kit turned her head to glare at the two but just spotted her opponent had killed Silverkit. She held no emotion and gave a glare at the one-eyed tabby. "Well, what're you waiting for?" She motioned Sandkit forward. The one-eyed tabby charged forward with wide-open jaws, ready to end the one with an Ivoric paw. "We are the same, you know." Leopardkit began.

Ivorythorn felt a guilty twinge in her chest at the heartbroken look on Sandkit's face after she had ended Silverkit's life. When she landed on the kit's back, she had crushed the poor she-cat's ribcage. But the other kit, Leopardkit, she held no reaction to her apparent sibling's sudden death. It sent a jolt down her limbs, set her paws on fire, her claws unsheathed and aching to rip into some flesh. The young deity had grown up without any of her real siblings around her, but Leopardkit was lucky enough to even have two sisters.
Yet...You don't even care that she- died! A ragged gasp escaping her maw as Sandkit lunged toward her, Ivorythorn took the hit and sent the two she-cats flying back. They tumbled in the snow, the silver-tabby fighting ferociously for the upperhand. She slammed her one ivory paw into Sandkit's chest and hissed, fur bristling. Her claws dug into the skin, slowly dragging them down the kit's chest, making four thin lines of blood bloom across. "We are the same, you know." [/i]
Her blue-green eyes flew wide-open, ears pricked, her face holding a wispy expression of shock. She stared into Sandkit's one orb, her eyes slowly narrowing until they were hateful slits. Ivorythorn raised an unsheathed paw and thrust it into Sandkit's eye, the only one she had left. "I'm not like you," She whispered, voice trembling. Taking a few steps back with one paw dripping, glaring at Leopardkit, "You have a perfectly loving and normal family... One that you are about to ruin because of your death. You should be ashamed." [/color]

The tabby had suffered as the claws dug into her eye. She shrieked with pain without making a sound. Soon she no longer struggled as the tabby went limp. "Can't you mouse brains do anything right?!" The ocelot hissed. "They are only pouns.(sp?) In order to advance in this world, one must use a few tools and possibly lose a few of her items." The ocelot began to walk forward and held out her paw. "Join with me. We could take over more than the woods. We could have ultimate power, but only if you work 'for' me." She pretty much gave away she was only going to use this young deity like she used her siblings by saying 'for' and not 'with'.

((*pawns ^_^)) Ivorythorn narrowed her eyes dangerously at the ocelot, abandoning the now lifeless body to step toward Leopardkit. She glowered at the she-cat and took a step back as she extended a spotted paw. After the ocelot's spiel, the clearing was filled with a tense silence. We could have ultimate power. But only if you work for me. Ivoythorn thought of Redear, Scourge, and Bloodclan. Her claws dug into the snow. She threw her head back and laughed hysterically. When it died down, she looked back at Leopardkit sidelong, "Do you really think I would abandon my place in Bloodclan for some kit with a foolish dream?" A brow furrowed, and she let out a cross hiss, "A Nightclan cat, no less. Your mother and your father's blood combined to create the deadly poison running in your own veins. For me to work under such...such sickness, that would only spoil my own blood, now would it...?" She pointedly chose the word 'under' rather than 'alongside. "Redear was a fool to have forgiven you and your clan. Either a fool, a really good liar, or she really does have a heart inside."
The silver tabby could feel her soul turning bitter and cold inside. Did she really just insult Redear, the cat she had looked up to through the moons, like that? Ignoring it in favor of thinking about it any longer, she continued in a hoarse voice.
"I'm not just a pawn for you to use in your game. If what you say is true, if we really are just similar, then I am your competition, and you are just awaiting your 'checkmate'. It's inevitable."
When she finished with her rant, a troubled sigh escaped her maw along with a white puff of smoke. It had gotten so late at night, she barely noticed the time that had gotten by. "So what now, half-clan? With your little lackeys gone, how will you conquer the woods now?"

This is getting interesting! owo)) As the silver tabby refused, the ocelot frowned and lowered her paw slowly until it stood against the ground like the other paws. The ocelot lithened intently at the words of the cat that Redear had raised and shaped into the pure creature of darkness shewas now, a kind of deity. Her head slowly lowered as she listened, but when she finished, the ocelot smirked and chuckled. "Now you get it exactly." Swiping her sand-paper tongue over her muzzle, she continued to speak. "Hmhmhmhmhmh... hmm, seeing as this is merely chess, let's play by the rules of the game itself. So far, there is two kings, the black king and the white king. However, they are protected by 16 pieces. 8 are pawns and then there's the queen, the bishop, the knight, and the rook. All but the queen come in pairs and each moves a specific way." She flicked her tail and began to circle the silver cat as she continues explaining. "Each piece moves in a different way. The rook moves any number of vacant squares forwards, backwards, left, or right. The bishop moves any number of vacant squares diagonally. Consequently, a bishop stays on squares of the same color throughout a game. The two bishops each player starts with move on squares of opposite colors. The queen moves any number of vacant squares in any direction forwards, backwards, left, right, or diagonally. The king moves only one vacant square in any direction forwards, backwards, left, right, or diagonally. It can also castle in conjunction with a rook. The knight moves to a vacant square in an "L"-shape two spaces forwards, backwards, left, or right, then one space perpendicular. The pawn can only move forward one space or, optionally, two spaces when on its starting square, away from the player. And lastly, the knight jumps over any intervening piece(s) when moving." She stopped circling and lowered to the ground in a ready-to-pounce position. "So now that we covered that much, let's cover the pieces claimed, so far you took my knights and as for my queen, it doesn't exist, but I believe you have a full set still... including the queen. Right now the set has been tucked away to use another day for both of us, all but the kings. I guess this would make checkmate." She placed a front paw outward so she could lunge. "But before we checkmate, tell me. Are you the black king, or the white king?" (I'm probably gonna play with leopard kit, so hold off on killing her for this, I may make her useful to the plot.)

((Interesting=Dark This is getting a little dark, for a warriors rp, but... I LURV ET How about this, they brawl for a little while, and Foxpaw shows up, and Leopardkit or Ivorythorn has to beat it. You choose who has to scurry away when Foxy pops up xD))
Silence once again held the night tightly in its grip. Ivorythorn was starting to think it was suffocating, along with a sick, uneasy feeling churning in her stomach. Leopardkit smirked and chuckled darkly, continuing on a tangent about the game of chess while circling the silver-tabby. Ivorythorn frowned, rotating slowly along with her movements so her back was never turned. Blue-green eyes flickered curiously over Leopardkit's face, her ears twitching as she listened to the rules.
When she was done, the ocelot dropped into menacing crouch. Ivorythorn swiftly did the same, baring her fangs, tail lashing wildly. "Yes, it seems all of our pieces have been rendered immobile just at this moment...." She muttered, raking an unsheathed paw over the ice. Her eyes trailed back up to Leopardkit's face, the scowl relaxing a bit. "It does not matter which color set we choose, but how we choose to use the set. Neither of us are completely white of soul, neither completely black..." The tabby may have been lying right then. It felt as if this darkness was consuming her alive. Ivorythorn swiped her tongue over her teeth, flashing a smirk. "But, I believe I'd be the black king." She admitted. Silence again. "Let's fight for checkmate, shall we?" Muscles bunching at her legs, she sprang from her spot and soared over the ocelot, landing heavily behind the she-cat. Whipping around, she let out a savage battle cry and reared up, bringing her front paws down on the spotted kit's back.
Pawsteps crunched the snow below, a stray paw coming around to lift up the leaves of a bush."Leopardkit?" A soft voice asked, night blue eyes searching around in concern

As the front paws slammed onto her back, the ocelot yowled in fury and pain. She flipped onto her back to give a strong kick to Ivorythorns belly, digging her back claws in to slash as well as kick off the opponent. Her flip may just cause a slight stumble too.

Ivorythorn staggered back on her rear legs, grunting as pain spread through her stomach. Blood dripped out of the cuts that Leopardkit raked across her abdomen. Blue-green eyes flashing, the silver tabby fell to her haunches before springing up again, launching herself at the spotted kit. She brought her frontpaws around Leopardkit's neck in a stiff head lock, opening her jaws wide and clomping down hard on her muzzle, teeth gnashing ferociously. She dug her back claws into the ground for leverage, then swung her weight to the side to try and throw Leopardkit onto the ground.
Ears perking, tail lashing in curiosity, the flame-furred body gravitated toward the sound of yowls and sparring. He moved slowly, cautiously, navy blue eyes wide.

She gave a painful yowl as the ocelots head was now locked on by the opponent. She determinedly tried to resist falling to the ground by pulling back until a pull made a gash on her muzzle. "Grah, you bastard!" She hissed at the silver tabby and placed a paw over her muzzle. The ocelot was now pissed, and she had leaped forward and clawed down the side of Ivorythorn's face.

The tabby felt Leopardkit's claws tear down the scar that was already under her left eye. The wound reopened and spilled blood along with the new, fresher cut. Ivorythorn reeled back, yowling in agony, paw over her eye. A savage growl rumbled from the back of her throat through labored breaths. She just won't give up! There was a slim chance now that the ocelot would ever give up now, judging by the now extremely heated glare she was shooting at the silver tabby. Ivorythorn hissed, swiping the blood away with her paw and circling the kit once more. She blinked, once, twice, but her eye remained as blurry as it was when it was full of blood.
The bitch took my eye out! It was true, Leopardkit's claw had ripped into her eye tissue and made it blind. The eye itself was still in it's socket, but seeing through it now the colors were too dark or too bright. They kept shifting whenever she moved. You fox-heart! I'll shred you into mouse-meat! She dropped into a crouch position as if she were about to lash out, turning her head slightly so she could see Leopardkit fully. This is going to end up being a pain in the tail...
This was definitely Leopardkit's scent, however a different smell had caught his attention as soon as it invaded his nostrils. Blood. "Leopardkit!" Foxpaw yowled, tearing through the brush, "Where are you?!" If his little sister was hurt, he wouldn't know what would happen, he didn't know what he would tell his family...
Just as she was about to lunge, she heard a tom yowling for Leopardkit. Her ear twitched and she tilted her head, shooting a last glare at the ocelot before looking to her right. The foliage was trembling as a certain cat was crashing through to get to them. I recognize that voice... Foxpaw? "What in Bloodclan's name?" She muttered, wondering if she should beat it or maybe kill off that kid too.

The ocelot had bristled, readying for the final blow that would decide which of the two would get check mate. However, a voice had reached her ears, causing both of them to be distracted. "Foxpaw! What in..." She had shot a glare to the silver tabby, and then she saw it. She saw who this orange feline was. "Ahh, I get it..." She had lowered her head and gave a dark chuckle. "It will be much easier now that I know who the black king is." And with a dark cackle, she leaped away to return to her clans camp. "Let us fight for checkmate next time..."

Foxpaw's eyes were wide with silent agony. His eyes raked over the still bodies of his two sisters, half buried in the snow. The scent of blood was still fresh, and when the winter breeze blew the smell toward him, he reeled back in disbelief. No...Not again... Th-they can't be gone...not again... The orange tabby felt his limbs go numb, and he collapsed on the snow, panting.Ivorythorn felt a chill run down her spine as Leopardpaw beat a hasty retreat. For a moment, she was about to do the same, but something felt wrong about leaving the tabby here. She wondered if he even noticed that Leopardpaw had left, he just seemed so... Upset. She took a step toward him, unsure of what to do, when he looked up and hissed. "Stay away from me!" His eyes flashed angrily, fur rippling on his back and neck. The young deity's tail lashed with an uncomfortable guilty feeling. She had just killed his two sisters and tried to murder Leopardpaw. Perhaps it would have been better to rush on back to Stormclan, if Foxpaw had seen more of the fight and went to tell Tinystar... That would certainly be bad for Stormclan. Unfortunately for her, the implications of the scene that Foxpaw had just witnessed were enough for him to reach a conclusion.
She needed a cover story.
"I-It was a rogue," Ivorythorn faked a choked up voice, forcing her green-blue eyes to brim with glassy tears. The tabby cocked his head at her, eyes suddenly softening. It's already working... "One of the rogues from Facilier's gang..." The silver she-cat let out a sob, "I-I happened to be nearby, and I... I tri-tried so h-hard to protect them..."
Foxpaw's gaze was now set on the ground. Ivorythorn felt kind of sorry for him. This would be the second time he lost Sandkit and Silverkit...
She let the sympathy show, the emotion reaching her eyes this time, "I'm so sorry..."
"I...forgive you..." He said, "Your eye...You got that from fighting the rogue...?"
She nodded at his distorted figure through her ruined eye. Leopardpaw...This game isn't over yet.END ((Of this thread, that is. I suggest you time-skip with Leopardpaw/kit to the other thread so we can continue with Stephen's plot.))
